DESCRIPTION:Counterpoint Chamber Choir will be performing a Christmas Conce
 rt&nbsp\;at St. Mary&rsquo\;s Anglican Church Maitland on the afternoon of
  Sunday 7 December 2025\, commencing at 2:00pm.\nCounterpoint Christmas Co
 ncerts have regularly included audience participation\, and those attendin
 g will be invited to sing along in a selection of well-known Christmas car
 ols. &nbsp\;To complete the concert\, a full program of Christmas carols a
 nd songs from the Counterpoint repertoire will be presented to get the aud
 ience into the mood for the festive season.\nWe will also be welcoming a m
 ixed student ensemble from Newcastle Waldorf School at Glendale\, with par
 ticipants from Year 6 to Year 12. Some of the students will be accompanyin
 g several of our choral pieces\, and the group will be performing Mozart&#
 39\;s String Quartet No 4 in C during the concert.\nElaine Barnes will be 
 guest conductor\, several choir members will provide accompaniment at the 
 piano\, and Linda Alford will be accompanying us on double bass for a numb
 er of the choral items.&nbsp\; We will also welcome Barbara Slade on the o
 rgan to accompany several of the audience carols.\nCounterpoint looks forw
 ard to presenting its Christmas concert at St. Mary&#39\;s Maitland and we
